News: In order for our region to spread the free insurance to the targeted number of farmers for this year 2024, the maximum farm area under our RSBSA program is hereby reduced from 3.0 hectares to 1.50 hectares per household for rice, corn and high-value crops. In case of livestock insurance, the following are the maximum number of animal which we can provide free insurance. 1. Cattle, Carabao and Horse 5 heads 5 heads 2. Swine Breeder 3. Swine Fattener 10 heads 4. Goat/Sheep Breeder 5 heads 5. Goat/Sheep Fattener 10 heads For fisheries, fishing boat and non-crop insurance, the existing limitation remain the same. All applications and proposals received by our staff from September 9, 2024 onwards shall be subjected to this limitation, however, we can still cover the exceeded area/s and heads under our Regular Program, but the farmer should have to pay the corresponding premium. Please disseminate the information to all our farmers and fisherfolks and be guided accordingly. Thank you.

Option for Additional Coverage:
If a farmer’s farm area or livestock exceeds the new limits:
They can opt for coverage under the Regular Program by paying the corresponding premium.
